na terenie łódzkiego getta. Ale określenie „Wielka Szpera” dotyczy dramatycznych wypadków obejmujących okres od 5 do 12 września 1942 roku.

The name “SZPERA” comes from the German term Allgemeine Gehsperre – a total prohibition on leaving houses, which was introduced several times in
the Łódź ghetto. But the term “The Great Szpera” refers to the dramatic incidents spanning over the period from 5 to 12 September 1942.
