The next figure is an introduction to the presentation of the Statute of Kalisz in seven languages.
In the center, the artist placed a crowned eagle and the text in Polish, introducing texts translated
into other languages:
"Charter of privileges accorded the Jews by Boleslaus the Pious, the Grand Duke of Great Poland
in 1264, extended by Casimir the Great, King of Poland, and thrice confirmed in 1334, 1447 and
1487, and in the history of the Polish nation by kings and grand dukes renewed and together with
royal statutes confirmed."
