The Haggadah, or the story of the exodus of Jews from Egypt is read at the Passover Seder dinner. This is an
age-old ritual in Jewish homes. Joint family reading is a religious imperative. Therefore, the Haggadah is found
in every home. It contains passages from the Book of Exodus, but also psalms, blessings and parables. Artur Szyk
created a masterpiece, today widely regarded as one of the most beautiful Jewish books of the twentieth century.
