‘One has to perform a surgery not on the heart only. For
it’s a patient that is lying on the operating table, not only
their heart. And it’s the patient that needs to be operated
on. One has to be able to come up with some indications,
be a doctor in the first place. One needs to have a moral
approach towards the patient, be together with them,
because they will more easily endure that awful pain
resulting from opening the chest if the one who did it to
their heart is a sympathetic, live person, flesh and blood.
An operator of a remote device will never be one’.
