Is it really that obvious that this person is there by choice? Can you
really say that they brought it on themselves? How can it be that
when the sun is shining, that’s practically like it wasn’t shining at all?
How can it be that when it is raining, you can see no difference, no
matter the circumstances? Is that possible for a prisoner – despite
the jail and walls, despite the restriction in the decision-making,
when you feel longing and helplessness – to feel free? Maybe
prison is only in your head? Maybe you are constrained by your
own believes and emotions? Maybe it’s not exactly what you think
about the whole picture. If somebody makes a mistake that put
them in place like this – such person doesn’t necessarily have to
be bad, unscrupulous, ruthless criminal thinking only about next
crime, it doesn’t have to be a person that hurts. Maybe the reality
of people in jails is different from what is assumed by the society
that tends to put everybody in one box, not recognizing some of
the differences. What is the truth? Do you want to get to know it?
I invite you to read my book.
