Łódź synagogues
„Łódź synagogues- virtual heritage of a lost district” - a newpublication by Krzysztof Stefański and Rafał Szrajber has been issued.
Through the reconstruction of the synagogues the authors take us into a time travel, discovering their hidden secrets. Thanks to Jerzy Kropiwnicki, the Mayor of Łódź’s grant, the whole project was possible.
In order to save the memory of the sites destroyed by the Germans during the Second World War, a computer technology reconstruction process of four Łódź synagogues (20 Wolborska Street, 2 Spacerowa
Street (Kościuszki Av), 56 Zachodnia Street and 6 Wólczańska Street)
began.
