I started working with the Dialogue Center in 2014 while organising the Jan Karski year celebrations in Łódź. The co-operation resulted in a transfer to the education department, where I am still today. I give lectures and workshops to visiting groups and coordinate and create educational projects run by the Dialogue Center. I have been publishing newspapers, creating a YouTube channel and recording podcasts with high school students from Łódź. In my off-time, I am involved in volunteering with the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) – in 2019 I became the head of the Polish representation (of over 3,000 people) for the European Scouting Rally in 2020. I spend my spare time between Zumba classes, using my Cinema City card and simply watching TV series in the comfort of my home.
What I consider most important about the work of the Dialogue Center is that it forces its audience to reflect upon uncomfortable and difficult topics. In a world overloaded with essentially irrelevant information, it is easy to stop reflecting on the things that surround us and the stories that have led us to where we are now. That is why it is important for the Dialogue Center to continue to make people reflect.
