I am a Muslim, and I was born in Łódź. My mother is Polish and my
father Jordanian. I spent half my life in Jordan and the other half in
Poland and had the opportunity to meet many Muslims living here.
My wife is a Muslim (also from Jordan), who has lived in Łódź for
six years. We are a part of the Polish Muslim community, which,
in my opinion, identifies very strongly with Polish values and na-
tionality. Unfortunately, some people see Polish Muslims in a very
negative light, associate them with images shown in the media
or with the problems with immigrants in Western Europe. People
who have never dealt with Muslims become Islamophobes. If you
want to meet me, you are welcome to join the table.
